TOMORROW: Mel Brooks! Also: Kids' Broadway series announced for February
Plus: Carole King, Debbie Friedman, and Contemporary Jewish Broadway
Great news!
My “Greatest Hits” two-part, two-hour Mel Brooks class returns tomorrow Thursday January 21 at Noon ET, repeated the following week Thursday, January 28 at 8 pm ET.
We’ll focus on his movies such as The Producers, Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, and History of the World Part One, but we’ll also look at his work for television and the Broadway stage. You can see my opinion of some of his funniest lines at this video:
Next week we do the last two singer-songwriters; these are two of my most popular classes:
FREE Mondays in February are special Kids’ Broadway classes appropriate for adults and their families:
There will be two special guests at the Mary Poppins class; their identities will be revealed one week in advance.
