Free Online Course: Philip Roth's Short Fiction
Master culture teacher David Benkof teaches Goodbye, Columbus and Five Short Stories
Starting a week from today (Monday, June 15) master culture teacher David Benkof will be offering a free online course about Philip Roth’s short fiction: an in-depth exploration of Goodbye, Columbus and Five Short Stories. David will help students find symbols and images that enrich the understanding of these thoughtful, poignant, and funny stories. You don't have to read the stories (which range from 20 to 140 pages in length) to enjoy the class, but it helps.
The course will only be offered if a minimum of 12 registrants for the entire series sign up by Friday, June 12. Once the minimum for the series is filled, students will be able to sign up for individual classes.
You can sign up for the series at tinyurl.com/BenkofShortFiction.
