Free ENCORE Jewish Culture 101 class - next 48 hours only
Topics include Neil Simon's Biloxi Blues and the film Cabaret
Last Monday at 12:50 pm EDT, about 50 Jewish Culture 101 Encore students had a great time talking about and debating West Side Story. While the free Noon EDT courses with 100+ students are great, students have told me it’s particularly gratifying to learn Jewish culture in a smaller group.
The Encore classes are normally $6 each, but for the next 48 hours, I’m offering a free access code for any ONE of the next three Encores (all meet at 12:50 pm EDT):
May 11 “Zooming In”: a close look at photos by Jewish women;
May 18 Biloxi Blues: movie version of the autobiographical Neil Simon play about anti-Semitism and sexual awakening during Basic Training; or
May 25 “Cabaret Belongs to Me”: fresh insights into “Tomorrow Belongs to Me,” “If You Could See Her…” and “Cabaret” (movie version)
To take advantage of this limited two-day offer, hit reply and type in the date you want to attend for free (May 11, 18, or 25) and I’ll reply with your access code and instructions on where to type it.
I look forward to seeing you!
